Products & Services

We supply shower, fabric & disposable curtains in flame retardant fabrics designed especially with healthcare uses in mind.

The fabric curtains are manufactured from high quality, inherently flame-retardant, 220gsm polyester fabric, & are able to withstand repeated

washing at high temperatures.

Fabrics are either printed, on one or
both sides, or woven. There are anti-microbial fabrics available.

Harrier disposable curtains are anti-bacterial, and are manufactured from 100% recyclable polypropylene and are treated with Biosafe antibacterial formulation.

Shower Curtains come in a variety of
sizes, and are flame retardant.

The patented Kestrel system is simple and extremely effective. It will securely hold a range of items by powerful short-range magnetic attraction. When an abnormal load is applied the magnetic force is overcome and releases its load. And it can do this time after time with no decline in performance, and as there is no mechanical restraint at all, nothing can jam, break or wear out. After an incident, all that is required is for the suspended item to be held immediately below the magnetic bracket or brackets. The magnetic force will then raise the item and click it into its correct position.

Fixed Screens: These screens
are one solution to the problem of cubicle tracks interfering with patient hoists. They are fixed to a secure point, and open out like a
curtain.

Mobile Screens: These screens offer an alternative solution to the problem of cubicle tracks interferingwith patient hoists.

They are mounted on a mobile platform, and can be moved from patient to patient, or from room to room.

Chain operated encapsulated laser blocking roller blind

Most Class 4 and many Class 3B lasers present an eye hazard over very long distances and it is therefore imperative to have comprehensive laser safety protection in place wherever they are present.

Laser radiation must be prevented from escaping through the windows of laboratories and production facilities. Ordinary curtains or screens are rarely capable of stopping a laser beam and specially-designed blocking products are required.

Lasermet's laser blocking roller blinds are designed as a passive guarding system to block laser light from escaping the theatre, laboratory or laser facility where Class 3B or Class 4 lasers are in use, either to protect against accidental exposure to the laser beam or for long term blocking of laser radiation at lower power densities.

The blinds are fitted to cover windows (and to doors where there is a window built into the door), and there are options to suit the application.

For Lasermet’s encapsulated laser blocking roller blinds the options are as follows:-

  • The blinds can be operated manually by chain or crank handle.

  • Alternatively, the motorised version (24V AC or 230 VAC for larger blinds) can be operated by remote control – either wireless or hard-wired.
